As president, principal, and key accounts manager at Kitchen2Table, Jonathan Mark Pearson leads a team of experienced sales representatives across the Southeastern United States to provide the best selection of tabletop, housewares, and specialty gift items—everything from kitchen utensils and cutting boards to decorative vases and tech gadgets—spanning a wide range of brands. In this role since 2016, he showcases an expertise in business development, marketing, building relationships with vendors, including international ones, sales growth, and bridging nations together through the company’s products and services. Prior to this appointment, he served as the sales director at Browne & Co. Cuisipro from 2013 to 2016, a national sales manager within the Kaiser Division of WMF Americas from 2012 to 2013, and vice president of sales and marketing at REVOL from 2006 to 2012.
Between 2004 and 2006, Mr. Pearson was active as the regional sales manager at Alessi USA Inc. and national account manager at Testrite. He previously excelled as vice president of sales and marketing for Richard Ginori 1735 from 2001 to 2004, a sales director for Churchill China plc from 1998 to 2001, and launched his career as the co-owner of Pine by Design in 1994.
Attributing his success to hard work and being fair to everyone, Mr. Pearson grew up in England exposed to his grandfather’s dinnerware business. In 1994, on his mother’s birthday, he flew to Atlanta after college to start an importing company in the United States. He imported furniture throughout the first four to five years. Following the passing of his wife, his children encouraged him to return to the dinnerware industry. Reflecting on his accomplished life and career, he considers his most notable to be moving to the United States from England with $500 in his pocket, not knowing what to expect; on his first day in his new country, he sold a coffee table. He sold another on his third day. In addition, he has been extremely proud of raising three wonderful children.
Looking ahead toward the future, Mr. Pearson’s mission is to continue working in his current field and being ranked number one in the Southeast. He wants to be the best version of himself in terms of accomplishments, reputation, integrity, and association—and most of all, he wants to be known as the “good guy” in the business who wants to do better and improve the industry. His life’s motto is “Leave every conversation better than when you entered it.”
